Man Booker Prize interview for The Daily Beast

Man Booker Prize interview for The Daily Beast

There is an interview with Dan on The Daily Beast website where he chats about his week jetting back and forth across the atlantic to attend the Man Booker Prize Awards.

Last night was momentous; celebrating the end of an extraordinarily challenging few months we presented the award to the first British author, and the first female author, to win the Man Booker Prize twice; the first author to win with a sequel or with consecutive books. Hilary Mantel has redefined the genre of historical fiction and her mastery of the novel form is magnificent. It was a privilege to be among the first to read it. All of the six shortlisted authors were a delight to read but the process of considered critical argument saw Bring Up The Bodies as the finest work of literary fiction this year.

Check out Downtonline who have added lots of gorgeous photos of Dan from a recent photoshoot.

Dan's Week

Wonderful article re the Man Booker Award and Dan's participation from start to finish. Especially gratified to read that he fully intends to continue with his own writing, as I so look forward to his articles for the Telegraph and The Junket. Dan Stevens is truly a gifted Renaissance man. How refreshing!

Dans week and photographs

Nothing to add really, but just to say that above photograph of Dan is one of his best, but when did he ever take a bad photo? Pat Giles. ( even getting used to his blonde hair after all these years. Very best wishes to Dan in his future roles and career.

CLASSIC DAN

I PARTICULARLY LOVE THIS PHOTO OF DAN, AND THE CLASSY SIMPLICITY OF HIS OUTFIT. WHEN YOU ARE THAT HANDSOME THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO "GILD THE LILY" ANY MORE. GOOD TASTE, DAN! I HAVE ONLY SEEN PHOTOS OF HIS NATURALLY DARK HAIR, AND FRANKLY.....I LOVE IT!
