The walls of our house are already groaning under the weight of my bookshelves, and now that I’m signed up as a judge of the Man Booker Prize next year my library will gain many more works of literary fiction over the coming months. It’s going to be exciting reading the best of what is currently being written, but, note to Santa: Please don’t bring me any more books…

It is easy to comprehend why Dan Stevens is often cast in the period genre. His writing stems from this other- worldly dialect and affirms his character Matthew Crawley as more endearing and believable. Please keep gracing us with your amazing eyes, and amazing words Dan!.
