Summer In February: Showbiz 411 interview & Telegraph column

Dan's monthly column for The Telegraph was in yesterday's Seven magazine. Look out for it on the Telegraph website later this week.

Another video interview with Dan promoting Summer In February last month has been shared on You Tube by Showbiz 411. Dan's comments in the video seem to have already been reported on in other news sources, but worth a watch anyway.

More lovely photos from the Summer In February gala screening have been shared by Micaela Cianci.

Summer In February - Audiobook?

Would anyone, apart from me, love to hear Dan reading an audiobook version of "Summer In February"?

I think that he could do it brilliantly, all of his other books are really good, and I am quite certain that the next four that he has coming out soon, will be right up there with the best!

Here's hoping!

What a lovely idea!

And I would run, not walk, to purchase it, depending of course on it's being available here (US) too! Dan has a mesmerizing voice, and uses it so beautifully in his audio books.

SiF Audiobook

Oh, yes, yes, yes, indeed. I have been reading the book and imagining that how Dan portrays Gilbert Evans must be wonderfully sympathetic - but to hear him to read it aloud would be revelatory. Wonder if he's too close to the work now, though - his teacher wrote it, and wanted him to play Gilbert, after all!

Audiobook

Would love it if Dan would read the book. When he reads it is magic

AS ALWAYS...

JUST FINISHED THE TELEGRAPH ARTICLE, DAN YOU ARE AN UTTER AND COMPLETE DELIGHT! ELOQUENT, WITTY AND "RIGHT ON". THOUGH WE HAVE NO SHORTAGE OF COFFEE IN THE US AT ANY HOUR, CAN'T REALLY SAY ITS MADE US ANY WISER, MAYBE FASTER....

So thrilled to see this - not just interesting but so beautiful!

Telegraph column

Another brilliant article by Dan in yesterday's Telegraph Seven magazine. Well observed and well written. I am always happy to read his work, even if I don't necessarily agree with his sentiments exactly, but on this occasion I certainly do!

Always good to see again

The little video interview is always a joy to watch again - thanks for that.

Also, thanks to Micaela Cianci for sharing her photos. I was also there on the second night - it was absolutely brilliant. The film was wonderful and it was really good to meet with Jeremy Cowdrey, Jonathan Smith, David Evans & of course Dan. It was a truly memorable evening and the film. like the book, is very special indeed.
