The Ticket: new film project

Variety have shared news of Dan's new film indie project 'The Ticket', which will begin filming next month in upstate New York.

Continuing his run of strong dramatic roles, Dan Stevens has come on to star in indie “The Ticket” with Oren Moverman producing.

Ido Fluk is writing and directing with Lawrence Inglee joining Moverman as a producer.

The pic follows a blind man who regains his vision only to be engulfed in selfishness, blinded by his obsession for the superficial. The film will begin production this August in upstate New York. Fluk directed the 2011 Israeli film “Never Too Late.”

Stevens has had a busy 2014 thus far beginning with his dark turn in “The Guest” which premiered at Sundance and led to strong reviews for the young actor.

He can be seen next alongside Liam Neeson in the Cross Creek pic “A Walk Among Tombstones” and also has “The Cobbler” starring Adam Sandler and “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb” bowing later this year. He recently wrapped production on the ensemble drama “Criminal Activities.” He is repped by WME and Julian Belfrage Associates.
